This December, the Southbank Centre gets a swirling, sweeping swarm of light and sound created by multi-media collective Squidsoup. 200 orbs fitted with speakers, LEDs, and movement sensors will be suspended from the ceiling of the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer.

A new exhibition at the Design Museum envisions what life would be like on Mars' otherworldly landscape. Step into immersive environments and see what Martian homes will look like with a full-scale habitat designed by architectural studio HASSELL. The exhibition will also feature objects from NASA, the European Space Agency, and SpaceX, as well as the first spacesuit designed for the Mars surface.
