LAPADA fair London returns this September to the heart of Mayfair. For one week 100 prestigious exhibitors from around the world set up their wares in the purpose built marquee in Berkeley Square. The fair includes paintings and antiques, jewellery and sculptures with prices ranging from £500 to £500,000 and every object is vetted by a 70-member specialist committee, so established collectors and novices alike can browse with confidence.

Among this year's offerings are sumptuous gold jewellery pieces from J Baptista (Stand B2), rare antique luggage from Smith and Robinson (Stand B53) and paintings from around the world, including works by Australian Aboriginal artists from the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery (Stand A23).

The Japanese Print Shop, Painter and Hall and John Iddon Fine Art

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of LAPADA exhibitors will present pieces by a nominated master of their craft, from historical heavyweights such as Chippendale and Wedgwood to ceramicist Dame Lucie Rie and 20th century jewellery designer Suzanne Belperron. Painter and Hall (Stand B36) offer contemporary and modern British Painting and the Japanese Print Shop (Stand B3) offers elegant woodblock prints from the mid 19th century to the early 20th century.

If you get weary from browsing the available treasures, refuel at the on-site LAPADA Brasserie, catered by Sissi Fabulous Foods and sip sparkling wine from one of England's finest vineyards. There will also be a pop up of the Polo Bar from the Westbury Mayfair Hotel offering wines, teas and coffees.

For those looking for a more in-depth insight into the world of antiques there is also an excellent curated talks programme organised by The Arts Society.
