This year LAPADA fair London returns, for its tenth anniversary edition, to its plush temporary marquee-home in the heart of Mayfair's Berkley Square. For one week only, around 100 prestigious exhibitors from around the world offer works of art, spanning millennia and media. With prices ranging from £500 to £500,000 and above, LAPADA caters to both the established collector and first-time buyer alike.

But make no mistake, LAPADA offers a breadth of contemporary art, too. Among the sought-after contemporary works on display are an exquisite Tracey Emin lithograph in two colours at the stand of Tanya Baxter Contemporary (A15) and 30 unique woodcuts, entitled Clan Concrete, by Royal College of Art graduate Celia Cook at Candida Stevens Gallery (B39).
LAPADA fair 2018 is far more than just a trade fair, though. There's an on-site Brasserie and Café, catered by Sissi Fabulous Foods, and an excellent curated talks programme organised by The Arts Society. This year the Headline Lecture on 17 September will be presented by LAPADA's Cultural Partner, The Ashmolean Museum.
Don the heels, splash on a glass of champagne and enjoy waltzing around an intriguing world of glorious art history.
