Visions of the German countryside don’t always materialise when we think of fine wines. Wines of Germany are setting out to change that with a free pour tasting of over 20 different types of wines from across the German countryside.

They’re teaming up with the sommeliers at German Gymnasium, London’s number one location for German cuisine. Head over to King’s Cross for your chance to sample the restaurant’s library of flavours, from the comfort of the Gymnasium’s private dining room. For those who like to hear the story of what they’re drinking, a team of experts from Wines of Germany will be on hand to share expertise, including head sommelier Charlotte Lamouroux.

Half of the wines will showcase different styles of Riesling. The other half will showcase the variety of other wines produced across Germany's 13 wine growing regions, so you certainly won’t want for choice.

Date and time: Monday 9 October, 6pm - 8pm
Price: Complimentary for members
