Aussie chef Bill Granger presides over three of London's best restaurants – they must be some of the most Instagrammed spots in London. And now his successful formula of sophisticated, relaxed all-day dining will reach Chelsea late in spring.

Already established in Clerkenwell, King’s Cross and Notting Hill, Granger & Co eateries combine cutting-edge design (the King’s Cross restaurant is surely one of London’s most beautiful places to eat) with classy, ingredient-led cooking that is adaptive to trends, without labouring over them. The new one will open on Pavilion Road, a short walk north of Sloane Square.

Granger opened his first restaurant in Australia in 1993, and since then his 'sunny, easy-going and generous' attitude to hospitality has sprinkled grey countries with some Aussie sunshine.

Granger & Co serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks throughout the day, though Granger’s heart is set on big breakfasts. Typical patisserie-style food competes with unusual dishes, for instance a carrot and chickpea latke, spiced dahl, lime raita and turmeric vinaigrette, or soft shell crab, kimchi and fried rice, or the 'Fresh Aussie': jasmine tea, hot smoked salmon, poached eggs, greens, avocado and cherry tomatoes.

Eating Aussie-style in London usually means restaurants with a rustic, hipster style, but Granger concentrates his energy on one-off interiors. His restaurants feel spectacular.
