The Crown season one was the most expensive TV series ever made. It was a run-away success for the streaming network Netflix which spent £100 million (£100 million!) on the drama chronicling the early lives of the Royal Family. Season two, which follows the real-life story of the Queen and her family members in the 60s, will feature Claire Foy and Matt Smith (who return to play the Queen and Prince Phillip) and will likely star Michael C. Hall and Jodi Balfour as President Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy.
