Just when you thought pop-ups couldn't get more niche, along comes a bar constructed entirely of Lego bricks – over a million of them in fact. Australia-based Brick Bar, who are in no way affiliated with Lego themselves, are bringing their unique experience to an undisclosed location in Shoreditch from 26 to 28 April 2019.

Tickets, which are on sale now, get you 90 minutes access to the bar, which under 18s can only attend prior to 6pm and when accompanied by an adult. Alongside beers, cocktails and the distinctive Brick Burger (below), will be plenty of bricks to assemble your own creations – prizes will go to the best. Soundtracked by local DJs, the pop up will also have a ping pong table, unsurprisingly made of around 22,500 bricks, to have a go on. Hopefully the ball itself will be slightly rounder than a Lego brick.

Photos from their previous event in Melbourne promise an Instagram-friendly, wacky aesthetic that should at a minimum be more fun than treading on a Lego brick in bare feet.
