Best London music festivals 2018
Glastonbury's having a year off and we've sadly seen the last of Secret Garden Party. Never fear, you don't even have to leave London to find some of the best festivals in 2018.
With a new major festival – All Points East, plus Field Day doubling in size this year, the London line up is looking up.
Plus, they're all day festivals, so no horrible camping.
What: Every year the Southbank Centre invites a pop legend to curate a music festival. They get to choose the acts and basically run the show. Last year MIA was in charge and her chosen line up of outlaw musicians included Young Fathers and Princess Nokia.
Who: It's just been announced! This year, Robert Smith, lead singer and founding member of The Cure, will be in charge. The man who brought alt-rock to the masses and made us love Fridays will chose 30 of his favourite artists from the last 40 years to come and play. Get ready to book – the line up will be announced in March.
Listen to: Inbetween Days – The Cure (while we wait for the line up)
