Take a journey through Vincent Van Gogh's life by immersing yourself in his world at this touring exhibition on the South Bank. The show will offer vivid projections, interactive installations and striking sets, all designed to help visitors experience the artist's most loved works and the key moments in his life.

There are few painters who innovated and struggled as Van Gogh did. His life story is now the stuff of legend and the tragedies he faced form part of the myth of the struggling artist. This exhibition will help familiarise visitors with his childhood home, the streets of Paris, the golden cornfields of Arles and the asylum at St. Remy, where he spent a year after famously cutting off his own ear.

This show uses the the latest audio-visual technology to take visitors on a journey back in time. On arrival you will be given a headset to guide you around the experience in the artist's own words, lifted straight from the letters he wrote to his brother Theo. There are no original artworks here, but rather a chance to see the world as Van Gogh did, in a venue just a stone's-throw away from his year-long London residence in Stockwell. So prepare to dip into the swirling canvases of this tragic master, who, more than any other, has inspire films, books and exhibitions aplenty since his untimely death in 1890.
