Almost every day, a family in England and Wales loses someone at the hands of another person. This Wednesday A Killing in My Family airs on Channel 4, exploring the effects of murder or manslaughter on children whose families who have lost a member.

The film follows eight families coming to terms with grief. It dips into the shattered world of children and families whose lives have changed overnight, and follows an extraordinary team of grief professionals from bereaved children charity Winston's Wish, who are helping support those suddenly caught up in traumatic events.
