Cyprus Avenue, Jerwood Theatre Downtairs

Cyprus Avenue, returns to the Royal Court after a sell-out premiere in 2015 where it was hailed 'the most shocking, subversive and violent play in London'.

Stephen Rea reprises the role of a Belfast loyalist who's living in the past.

the end of history..., Jerwood Theatre Downstairs

The dream team behind Harry Potter and The Cursed Child and Let the Right One Inreturn to the Royal Court with a new play. Instead of Hogwarts magic or Scandi vampires playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany turn their talents to domestic drama.

The lowercased, ellipsis-ed play the end of history… premieres at the Royal Court's Jerwood Theatre downstairs taking us to a family meal in 1997 Newbury.

Now you can hear the prisoners' perspective in new play Inside Bitch. Subverting the stereotypes and exploding the cliches, it gives a platform for women who have been inside - and they don't mince their words.

You won't have heard of Anchuli Felicia King. Nor had Royal Court Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone. But when she read the script for White Pearl, Featherstone was convinced of King's writing talents and programmed the play for the theatre's main stage.

The timely play follows a small Sinagporean stat-up company. Clearday™ is growing rapidly thanks to the popularity of its skin-whitening cosmetics. But when an advert for their new skin cream gets leaked on line, the company goes viral for the wrong reasons.
