Forty years ago, Roger Steffens began work on his account of Bob Marley, So Much Things to Say, and this August sees its long-awaited release. Steffens toured with The Wailers in the 70s, and documented Marley’s transformations in the public eye over his lifetime.

His work will give unparalleled insight into the life and career of the reggae legend, and his talk on 4 September looks set to do the same, with promises to reveal new information, dispel myths, and allow the voices of those closest to Marley to be heard. Alongside Steffens, the audience will hear from Linton Kwesi Johnson, known as the first reggae poet and the first West Indian writer to document the lifestyles of black Londoners of the 1970s.

Book tickets for new insights into Marley’s life, and to gain a new understanding of the man who revolutionised reggae music, Jamaican culture, and Rastafari spirituality, at the Tabernacle for this very special Reggae Night.
