Just a few months after the success of The Gruffalo in the West End comes The Gruffalo's Child, an adaptation of another book by Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler.

This Christmas, families are invited to follow the story of The Gruffalo's child, who ignores strict instructions from her father (The Gruffalo) that she should never, ever set foot in the deep, dark wood.

A rebel to the core, she ignores her father's warnings, and, one dark and miserable night, tiptoes into the snow. The Big Bad Mouse doesn't really exist, after all... does he?

Brought to the Lyric Theatre by Tall Stories, the company behind The Gruffalo, we expect big things from this musical sequel adaptation which promises to be as energetic and hilarious as the original.

For a limited time, there is a special offer on premium and term-time tickets for just £15.

Recommended for ages 3+. The theatre insists that all adults must be accompanied by a responsible child.

  • Kiln

Kiln's long steel counter with full action views of the kitchen makes it one of the most thrilling places to eat in London. Meals inspired by chef Ben Chapman's travels in Northern Thailand are cooked with claypots, woks, and grilled over chestnut wood embers.

  • Temper

The brilliant thing about Temper is its focus is on avoiding waste: beef fat is used for homemade tortillas and butter, whilst broth is made using bones. There's also a big emphasis on working with whole animals and rare-breeds such as Beer Fed Dexter, Longhorn and Highland Beef.
