Magazine consists of two indoor spaces that can
accommodate 3,000 people plus an outdoor area called the Showground, which can
cater for up to 7,000 people. The venue offers panoramic views of the River Thames and Canary Wharf skyline. The venue is located in front of the site of British artist Alex Chinneck's famous installation ‘A Bullet from
a Shooting Star’. The installation, which resembles an
upside-down electricity pylon, will be illuminated at night, creating a
prominent landmark for those travelling to and from the Greenwich Peninsula.
Magazine’s website says that the venue will be ‘a striking blank canvas for culture and commerce', offering brands and businesses a unique opportunity ‘to interact with global and local audiences'. With its three distinct yet complementary spaces, expect to find yourself heading to an event at Magazine London this summer.
