The Good Fight, More4

The Good Wife spinoff comes to More4 with an added dash of police brutality, corporate evil and white privilege

The Good Fight, More4
The CBS All Access series The Good Wife focused on high-powered attorney Alicia Florrick, wife of the Cook County State's Attorney – the second most powerful prosecutor's office in America – who decided to return to work, following her husband's arraignment on corruption charges.

The success of the show was such that it's now back, in a wholly different guise (and called The Good Fight) – this time with a new focus on Alicia's former friend and law partner, Diane Lockhart.

Written by The Good Wife's Robert and Michelle King, a new law-centric storyline reflects a world descending into the chaos of Trump's reign.

It opens with an astonishing 30 seconds in which Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) stares in horror as Trump's inauguration unfolds on TV. She stands up, straightens her clothes and leaves without a word.

Expect a series of strong, complex characters that includes a gay leading character in Diane's goddaughter, a young attorney who joins her in her new firm. We can't wait to return to this power-hungry world of silent looks, beady, greedy eyes scanning boardrooms and dark deeds abounding.
