The beloved wildlife filmmaker is back with a new documentary series uncovering the natural world through the continents

Seven Worlds, One Planet: David Attenborough returns
Is there anything the man can't do? David Attenborough clearly will not rest until every stone of the Earth has been unturned, giving audiences around the globe a glimpse of every wonder the world has to offer.

In his new series Seven Worlds, One Planet, Attenborough opts for a geometrical approach, tackling the natures of the world by continent. The show will break down new images of creatures according to their habitat, understanding how landscape and climate affect living beings.

Attenborough urges viewers in this series to "look after the natural world, the animals in it and the plants in it too". Preservation, beyond mere discovery, is key here. "This is their planet as well as ours", he says. "Don't waste".

The seven-part series condenses 92 film shoots in more than 40 countries, uncovering "animal dramas" and glimpses into volcanoes, waterfalls, icebergs, caves and more. There's always more to say – and thankfully Attenborough is here to help us properly look. Tune in to the first part of Seven Worlds, One Planet at 6:15PM on Sunday 27 October, on BBC One.
