Cheap Student Theatre Tickets

A pilot scheme by the Ambassador Theatre Group is offering savvy students deals on cheap theatre tickets

Cheap Student Theatre Tickets, Pronto
When it comes to saving, the theatre has often fallen victim to the scrimp of the student. Stage and West End Deals have been few and far between for some time. But savvy students need fear no more, a new scheme by the Ambassador Theatre Group has given students the opportunity to save on top quality theatre shows through the Prompt website, where cheap tickets to top shows abound.

Shows which have already welcomed discerning students into their audiences at a discounted rate include 1984, Funny Girl and Sunny Afternoon. There are currently eight West End performances attached to the scheme, although the ATG hopes to extend its programme throughout the country.

Though the price starts low at £16, students aren’t limited to the worst seats in the house with spaces in the stalls and dress circle being up for grabs depending on availability. For the catch of the day, students can log on to the website between 12pm and 3pm to buy tickets for that evening's performances.

It is hoped that the scheme will encourage young people to attend the theatre more often, and to see a greater variety and breadth of shows.

Below is a list of shows available on Prompt:
The Woman in Black
1984
The Dresser
The Naked Magicians
Sunny Afternoon
Jersey Boys
The Last Tango
Lunch and the Bow of Ulysses
