The Crumple Zone comes to the King's Head Theatre

Buddy Thomas's play The Crumple Zone returns to London's King's Head Theatre in Islington, providing a laughing start to Christmas 2018

The Crumple Zone at the King's Head Theatre
Christmas isn’t a time of cheer, kindness, and good will to all men. It’s a process of survival, a week of being around constant packs of people, getting too drunk, napping in the afternoon, and smiling at stockings filled with half remembered gift ideas. Oh, and Slade of course.

Returning to London at the King’s Head Theatre, Buddy Thomas’s play The Crumple Zone will be an hilarious foreshadowing of the most tiring time of the year. First performed in 2000, the play did extremely well in the States – especially off-Broadway – and came to London in 2016 to rave reviews.

The story follows five young men living in a Staten Island flat during Christmas, each having their unique issues with love – long term relationships, unrequited feelings, singleton pining – all of which cross over each other through the play.

It’s certain to be an evening full of laughs and rudeness – you need only look at the poster to figure that out!
