Liza Pulman Sings Streisand, Lyric Theatre

Liza Pulman's five-star singing tribute to Barbra Streisand's 50-year career heads to the West End

A must see for Streisand fans everywhere
Whatever your favourite Barbara Streisand song is, it will be here. Although the grand dame herself hasn't visited the West End since 1966 with her breakout role in the musical Funny Girl, love for her here has never wavered. Now, who better to give us a jolt of those Streisand vibes afresh but Liza Pulman, stalwart of Fascinating Aida, the acclaimed, all-female comedic singing group.

In her time off touring internationally with the group, Pulman has put together a tight, show-tune ready six-piece band (the Stardust Ensemble with musical director Joseph Atkins) and a show that combines comedy with Broadway-level commitment, featuring all Barbra's signature hits and many more. The show is transferring directly from Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Other Palace, where it had a sell-out run, and will continue on to a wider tour of the UK.

Streisand's now 50-year long career is legendary, and is packed with hits from the self-penned ('Evergreen') to the definitive covers ('New York State of Mind') from musicals, films and albums. The show promises these classics and more, including, from 'Don't Rain on My Parade' to 'The Way We Were' to 'You Don't Bring Flowers' and more.

Pulman's skills, virtuosic vocals, storytelling and personal attachment to Streisand's work make this celebration of Streisand a show to catch as it briefly lands on the West End.
