Women Leading the Way: Fawcett Society Discussion Panel, Museum of London

Join these boundary-breaking women discussing workplace realities

Women Leading the Way: Fawcett Society Discussion Panel, Museum of London
Glass ceilings, female board members, parental leave, the gender pay gap...the topic of women and working world is a contentious topic – and rightly so. Exceptional women in every professional field are breaking boundaries, taking on leadership positions and acting as great role models, but there remains a long way to go.

Three high profile people from business and politics are confronting these issues head-on in a panel talk. Together, they will discuss the progress made and challenges that remain ahead for women at work. The panel of speakers is led by Carolyn Fairbairn, Director General of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) with Ann Francke, CEO of Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and Fiona Mactaggart, leading feminist campaigner and former Labour MP for Slough.

Women Leading the Way is part of the City of London's Women: Work and Power festival, a programme packed full of events and activities that lament or celebrate the unsung women that have shaped our history and helped define our national identity.
