Sabine Socol for Rixo brings Parisienne cool to a fave London label

Sabine Socol x Rixo
Marrying exuberant prints, flattering shapes and an affordable price tag, it's little wonder that Rixo has earned itself a huge following - and a place in the wardrobes of multiple fashion insiders - since it launched in 2015. And a brand new collaboration with Parisian influencer Sabina Socol is further proof that founders Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey know exactly what women want to wear right now.

The nine piece capsule collection draws inspiration from the wardrobes of Cher Horowitz and Jane Birkin in a Nineties Beverly Hills meets Seventies Parisian mash-up that is a thing of beauty.

'Rixo embodies what is fun and cool about English style,' says Socol. 'We connected as soon as we met, since we are both so attracted to vintage. Our mutual likes and ideas meant the collection grew from a really natural and real place - it’s a dream when it works out like this and I hope it transpires in the collection. For me, our collection perfectly personifies English and French style - when London meets Paris!”

There's a soft focus feel to much of the pastel-hued collection, including ditzy floral print slip dress, dusty pink corduroy flares and a cute milkmaid top. A leopard print dress and a hot pink silk mini provide a sizzling hit of glamour, while a marabou-trimmed pale pink velvet handbag looks like it came straight from the wardrobe department of Clueless. Prices start at £145, and come in sizes UK6 to UK16.

Inspired by two of our favourite style icons and a positive contribution to Anglo-French relations: what's not to love?
