No floor length dresses or picnic hampers to hand? Who needs them, really, to enjoy the opera? As part of the spectacular Glyndebourne Festival 2018, three productions are being screened at cinemas across the UK. So dispense with the black-tie and take yourself off to the cinema to immerse yourself in a world of opera from a comfortable chair.

Following the screening of an impressive Madama Butterfly, Glyndebourne Festival is inviting guests to see both Vanessa live in cinemas and Saul, captured live in 2015. All three titles will also be available to watch online for free.
