Join a giraffe and his best friend as they journey from Egypt to Paris in this production of Zeraffa Giraffa at the Little Angel Theatre

Zeraffa Giraffa, Little Angel Theatre
If you thought the walk to school was bad, get ready for the journey of a lifetime as a young giraffe travels to Paris.

Zeraffa is a gift from the Pasha of Egypt to the King of France. The only problem? Paris is very far away. Fortunately, Zeraffa has some help from a young boy named Atir. The pair journey up the Nile, past the pyramids and sphinx until they reach a distant land, where everything is different – especially Zeraffa: no one in France has ever seen a giraffe before.

Based on the award-winning book by Dianne Hofmeyr, which, in turn, is based on the astonishing true tale of a real life giraffe, Zeraffa Giraffa follows a pair of unlikely friends on an inspirational trip across deserts and stormy seas. Adapted with beautiful, hand-made puppets and an original musical score, Zeraffa's heartwarming tale of acceptance has been brought to life at the Little Angel Theatre this September.
