Dragons and Mythical Beasts, Regent's Park Open-Air Theatre

Dragons and Mythical Beasts is an interactive children's show that brings the most amazing creatures to life for the kids thanks to spectacular puppetry

Dragons and Mythical Beasts is one to bring the toddlers to this summer
The only thing that beats seeing dragons and unicorns in real life? Seeing them onstage at Regent's Park Open-Air Theatre, the most delightful London venue to visit each summer.

This August, the creators of Dinosaur World Live are back with another fab life-like puppetry experience, interactive theatre show Dragons and Mythical Beasts, written by Derek Bond.

Ahead of its London season, the production will be touring 40 venues across the UK, introducing children to some of the most extraordinary - and terrifying - beasts, like the Stone Troll, Indrik, Japanese Baku, Unicorn, Griffin, Tooth Fairy and Dragon.

The interactive experience continues beyond the performance: after each show, there's a meet and greet where kids can get up close and personal with the show's magnificent beasts.

Good news: this is totally toddler-friendly, and recommended for kids 3 and up.

If you have slightly older children, don't miss booking in for Regent's Park Open-Air Theatre's May-June 2020 production of 101 Dalmatians, the musical.
