The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Britain’s best loved picture book, is bringing its Olivier Award nominated stage production back for summer as it celebrates 12 years on stage and over 50 years as Britain's top-selling picture book - it's sold over 5 million copies since its first publication in 1968.

Adapted and directed by David Wood, OBE, the bestselling tale by the beloved Judith Kerr continues to inspire and delight young audiences.

This might just be the perfect introduction to the world of theatre for your little one this summer, as they follow the story of Sophie and her mummy who find themselves with an unexpected - and ravenously hungry - guest at the door. The Tiger Who Came to Tea combines singing, dancing and puppetry with colourful set designs in this production.

While perfect for the 4-5-year-old bracket, we'd wholeheartedly recommend this show for younger toddlers - it's gentle, charming and the tiger is more silly than scary. Plus, the running time is less than an hour.

Xu has it all. It looks good enough to eat, the menu is thrilling and they're to be applauded for bringing proper Taiwanese dining to London. The service is beautifully judged and well informed. The only challenge may be getting a reservation, as almost all the critics love it.
