Queen and Adam Lambert, O2

After a knockout tour across the globe, Queen and Adam Lambert announce their new UK tour featuring six nights at the O2

Queen and Adam Lambert announce O2 performance 2020
Adam Lambert has some big shoes to fill – namely, those of the greatest pop hero of all time, Freddie Mercury. But after 25 huge American shows with over 400,000 spectators this summer, we couldn't be more excited for the Queen and Lambert collab to grace the UK with their stellar concert, Rhapsody.

The 2018 film Bohemian Rhapsody won Rami Malek (playing Freddie Mercury) an Oscar, but it also reminded us of one of the greatest live performances of all time: Freddie Mercury's 1985 set for Live Aid. Continuing Queen's legacy since Mercury's tragic death in 1991, world-famous guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and bass player John Deacon accompany lead singer Adam Lambert through this musical throwback to the greatest hits in UK history.

The group have toured all over the globe since they collaborated in 2012, with sell-out performances across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Queen did the same in Freddie's lifetime, touring Japan and the Far East – and were the first band to make a stadium tour of South America.

In Rhapsody, Queen and Adam Lambert take us back to the very beginning, from 1971 when Queen's debut album was recorded in London. The group play tracks from world-class albums Queen and Queen II not to mention one of the greatest singles of all time: Bohemian Rhapsody. Almost six minutes long, the masterpiece blew all expectations out of the water in 1975. It stayed at UK number one for nine weeks. Greatest Hits has rarely been out of the UK album charts since its release in 1981.

Other classics include We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions and Radio Gaga, along with I Want to Break Free, one of Queen's most famous videos featuring Freddie dressed in drag. Tickets for the group's exclusive O2 run are selling fast, so book now to avoid missing out.
