Ed Sheeran, European tour 2019: booking now open

The popstar who's dominating the airwaves is on the road again: Ed Sheeran tickets will sell out in a flash

Book now for Ed Sheeran's European tour
He's the ginger boy with a stammer and passion for rapping who grew up to dominate the airwaves, break records and occupy 40% of the top forty chart. The kids have been into him for years and now, after a special extended Desert Island Discs and headline slot at Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage, even the fuddy duddies can't feign to have never heard of him.

All this before the age of 27.

Now Ed Sheeran's going on tour for 2019. There's no doubt tickets will sell out in a flash. But is it worth going? Well you're likely to already know what you think of his music - god knows you can't avoid it. In live performance, Sheeran is as emphatically understated as the persona his lyrics paints.

There's no band, no backing singers - just one man with a guitar and effects pedal. We were dubious, then reluctantly moved by his Glastonbury set, which mingled intimate understatement with the kind of 'everyone knows the words' pop songs that plant in your brain.

He may not be edgy or hip, but he couldn't care in the slightest. And he's happy to rap it loud and proud from the main stage: 'I’ve never had an enemy except the NME, and now I’m selling twice as much as that magazine', he quips in 'Take it Back'.
