The new Greenwich Winter Time Festival is bursting with activities perfect for the little ones and not-so-little ones.
Parents needn’t fear the traditional festival crowds; festival slots are booked in 3-hour sessions to guarantee a warm, intimate environment safe for kids of all ages.
Spend an afternoon skating on the ice rink in the historic courtyards of the Old Royal Naval College, and cheer on the world-class figure skaters whose performances are set to kick-start every skate session. Shop 'til you drop at the specially curated Winter Market, or just spend the afternoon wandering through the shimmering College grounds. Enjoy live music, DJ sets, or the silent disco before taking a moment to chow down on some of London's best festival food.
If the kids have been really good, families can drop in for a visit with Father Christmas before he takes off from his Greenwich Launch Pad on Christmas Eve.
