Best of all is the ice rink itself. As well as a large space for whizzing about on there's a channel of ice that juts out and runs around through a glittering canapé of trees, great for first time skaters as it offers a barrier to hold onto as you find your feet, and an exciting extra bit of ice to dart down if you're an expert skater.
The cafe/restaurant space wouldn't win any Michelin stars, but bankers in search of a Christmas cocktails won't be disappointed and the chips and hot dogs are perfect for little ones just on hand, so you don't have to get cold looking for somewhere to eat.
Those living and working in Canary Wharf and in need of a good excuse for family friendly fun have finally got one, and if you don't work near by, it's still more than worth the trek across London for those in search of a really good ice rink that has to work hard to attract its customers.
