Laura Marling has a brand new sound with her brand new band, formed alongside Mike Lindsay. We watched with immediate enamour as LUMP performed their debut single ‘Curse of the Contemporary’ on Jools Holland, Laura Marling a beautiful and still apparition surrounded by a trio of jumpy, noisy bandmates. The Green Room at The Curtain Is the luxe new bar that's making a splash with it's impressive cocktail menu inspired by East London. Sip the 'Mabelle' (a mix of Bombay Sapphire, white cacao, rose and lemon tonic thats meant to evoke 'a walled rose garden in Victoria Park') aside an emerald-tiled bar and atop plush pastel velvet stools.

Sweet memories of the Parisian boutique Colette are beginning to fade after it's closure in December, but we all know smell is the sense most apt at evoking nostalgia.
