The Design Museum will showcase the most innovative designs of 2019

NERA, first 3D-printed motorbike from German additive manufacturer BigRep, through its innovation arm NOWLAB.
The Beazley Designs of the Year Award identifies the most original and impactful designs and concepts across the fields of fashion, architecture, digital, transport, product and graphic design from the last year and brings them together in one dynamic exhibition in the hallowed halls of the Design Museum.

Nominees this year includes a number of mind-bending innovations such as a website that generates fake portraits, a virtual assistant controlled by your thoughts, a genderless automated voice, and the world's first 3D printed motorcycle. Amongst the nominated projects are also a number of socially conscious fashion initiatives such as Tommy Hilfiger’s Adaptive clothing range which was designed for adults and children with different disabilities.

Displaying both established talent and rising stars, the exhibition offers a remarkable snapshot of the current world of design. The Beazley exhibition buzzes with a single question: what will be the next world-altering innovation?
