Pixar Live in Concert, Hammersmith Apollo

Pixar favourites including Toy Story, Ratatouille and Monsters Inc come to life with a live orchestral performance

Pixar Live in Concert, Hammersmith Apollo
If the release of The Incredibles 2 last summer taught us anything, it's that you can never be too old to enjoy Pixar films. As millennials took their place in the cinema amongst eight-years-olds to watch the long-awaited sequel of one of their favourite childhood films, it's clear that the appeal of Pixar's hyper-real animations and life-like characters never wanes.

A new concert performance brings Pixar fans another, perhaps slightly more adult way, to enjoy their favourite films in an evening of film and music where Pixar’s musical scores are revived through a full orchestral performance.

Expect to hear award-winning music by composers Randy Newman, Michael Giacchino, and Thomas Newman alongside high-definition excerpts. Transport yourself to the low-lit streets of Paris through music from Ratatouille, relive the adventures of Sully and Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc, and immerse yourself into the oceanic world of Finding Dory, as well as rediscovering musical scores from perennial classics Toy Story and A Bug's Life.

Originally launched in 2012 with an inaugural performance in San Francisco by the San Francisco Symphony, Pixar In Concert has since travelled the world bringing stunning music played over a compilation of some on Pixar’s most loved films.
