Medieval pages will keep the little Lords and Ladies entertained with their extensive repertoire of jokes and dance moves. Meanwhile, a series of squires will take charge of teaching the trainees the basics of sword fighting and chivalric duty. The gruelling training will cumulate in a knighting ceremony, as the new recruits pledge their swords to defend the Tower from the marauding peasants revolting beyond the walls.

The curriculum at this prestigious institution includes learning how to care for your knightly equipment. Make and decorate helmets or shields. Try out medieval fashions – work that runway! Then, get up close and personal with real armour with a special tour of the Royal Armouries collection.

Who says chivalry is dead? Enrol in Knight School at the Tower of London to learn about the valour, chivalric codes, courtly love and jousting tournaments that defined one of the most highly regarded professions in the Middle Ages.
