Prepare for a journey through the culinary cosmos: Skylon is bringing intergalactic delicacies back down to Earth. Their newly announced afternoon tea draws inspiration from the solar system – and promises to be out of this world.

Gravi-tea (the greatest tea pun since Fes-Tea-Val), promises an outer space experience complete with Rocks of the Universe, Galactic Cupcakes and Galaxy Macaroons. The astronomical afternoon tea includes smoked salmon, avocado crème fraîche, and artichoke and egg mayonnaise with mustard cress – a supernova of scrumptious finger foods.

The celes-tea-al experience is situated in the stunning Skylon restaurant, located in the Royal Festival Hall. Enjoy views overlooking the river as you feast on a constellation of incredibly Instagrammable cakes. Don't miss out on the StarDust cocktail: a phenomenal combination of lemon sherbet, pineapple syrup, and prosecco.

This is one experience aspiring astronauts and astronomy buffs won't want to miss out on. Booking is essential, so be sure to planet in advance!
