Expect exotic concoctions at Gingerline's Chambers (photo credit: Rob Grieg)
Having achieved sell-out success with their previous Chambers of Flavour events – as well as with their most recent experience, The Grand Expedition – the company are back with a new offering: Chambers. Yes, 'of Flavour' has been shrugged off the title of Gingerline's latest immersive dining experience, but further details of what to expect are, as is tradition, are being kept firmly under wraps. Okay, okay, we also know that the experience involves five flavoursome courses, a palate cleanser, a welcome drink and 120 minutes of playful explorations – but the rest you'll have to discover on your visit.
While as an 'Alumni of the Chamber', we're expected not to reveal what we've seen and tasted on previous Gingerline experiences, we can say with confidence that our experiences have always been unusual, awe-inspiring and truly full of flavour. On the day of our booking, we've received a text message with details of the secret location – it's always a short walk from one of the stations on The East London Overground (that is, the Ginger Line) somewhere between Highbury & Islington and Crystal Palace. We've been advised to arrive in plenty of time in order to have a drink and a look around the outer chamber before being whisked off for the multi-dimensional dining adventure.

Our lips are, of course, firmly sealed as to what Chambers holds within its walls. But we can tell you to expect inventive, completely believable acts, paired with delicious, at times too-beautiful-to-eat food. Gingerline has gone to some lengths to improve the quality of their cuisine with each new venture – and it really shows.
