Moniker Art Fair has made a name for itself by embracing urban culture and exhibiting artists who take risks. Styling itself as a fair with the trappings of a festival, Moniker is aimed at the next generation of art collectors; those who are not afraid of the new.

It is a big year for Moniker. This year, the New York iteration relocated from Brooklyn to Manhattan. In London, it will move from its Shoreditch home to Chelsea, bringing its forward-looking approach to a more conservative part of the capital. Of the move, Moniker's director, Tina Ziegler says: “After nine years supporting and championing the growth of urban art in the heart of East London, it felt like the right time to do the unexpected; move to an area of London more traditional in nature."

Last year saw some exciting collaborations, including a partnership with Berlin’s Urban Nation Museum and solo displays from emerging artists, such as Dan Rawlings and American graffiti artist/activist Ann J. Lewis. This year, the fair will continue its exciting programme with films, talks and exclusive performances from a host of fresh talent.

Moniker Art Fair London promises to provide an immersive experience distinct from most other art fairs. This is the place to go if you are looking for something different, something with its roots in rebellion and risk-taking.
