Imagine a world where humanity is extinct. It happened to the dinosaurs and there's every chance we are next. What will happen after mankind?

World Without Us combines philosophy, science and imagination to explore a possible future with no people in it. Bold Belgian theatre company and poetry collective Ontroerend Goed, who have won awards and fans all across Europe, confront the idea of our in this potent, lyrical drama.

After gushing reviews from the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe, World Without Us transfers to Battersea Arts Centre for a London premiere. It's a speculative story, starting subtly with machines and automation maintaining a sense of human occupation. But as we zoom further and further into the future, a sense of legacy emerges. Plastics outlast art, nature conquers cities and nothing can stop the force of the universe.

Book now to see a show that's already been hailed 'beautifully calibrated, melancholic and bittersweet', 'poignant' and 'compelling'.
