The Star Seekers, National Theatre

Explore outer space this summer in a new interactive children's show at the National Theatre

The Star Seekers, National Theatre
An interactive family show invites aspiring astronauts to explore an intergalactic world on the National Theatre's Dorfman stage.

In The Star Seekers, children must help Betty and Gammo save the space station. There are orbs to collect and questions to answer. Shall we fly to the moon? What happens in space? What do astronauts eat for supper? The show is shaped by the audience's ideas and contributions, with the cast of actors improvising along with the children's imaginations. Expect the unexpected and don't be surprised to find a few aliens along the way.

Presented by Bristol-based theatre compnay Wardrobe Ensemble, The Star Seekers promises a mix of irreverence and energy - with a little educational value thrown in too.

Keen little astronauts can extend their exploration at the National Theatre's Space Station exhibition, which is open an hour before every performance of the show and full of fun activities.

Recommended for children ages three to eight.
