Not only is the Fashion and Textile Museum currently home to a 1920s Jazz Age fashion exhibition but this Thursday it will be hosting award-winning fashion journalist, editor and author, Harriet Quick to celebrate the recent launch of VOGUE: The Shoe – a visual sourcebook curated by Quick containing over 300 stunning images from the VOGUE archive.

Quick will be joined by Lauren Cochrane, Assistant Fashion Editor of The Guardian, and previous Deputy Editor of i-D. The hour long talk will focus on the work of some of VOGUE’s most iconic photographers such as David Bailey, Corinne Day, Norman Parkinson, Mario Testino and Nick Knight.

It will be followed by a brief Q&A and chance to get signed copies of both VOGUE: The Shoe and Cochrane's latest book 50 Women’s Fashion Icons That Changed the World. Make sure you arrive early for a chance to browse the Jazz Age exhibition (admission is included in the price of the ticket) and to enjoy a drinks reception in the museum foyer at 18:00.
