The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Artsdepot
The most charming tiger to ever grace a bedtime story has been adapted for the stage by children's musical maestro, David Wood. The Tiger Who Came to Tea will arrive at Artsdepot just in time for the Christmas holidays.

Wood's interpretation has become a classic in its own right. Touring since 2008 and nominated for the Best Entertainment and Family category at the 2012 Olivier Awards, this retelling of The Tiger Who Came to Tea promises to delight and surprise audience members once again.

Based on Judith Kerr’s beloved 1968 children’s book, the show follows the story of Sophie and her mum whose dinnertime is disrupted by a very amiable, and very hungry tiger, who invites himself in to consume everything in the house. Fans are invited to sit back and watch the pandemonium unfold in this musical performance.

From the author of the Mog series, Kerr's bigger, hungrier feline has delighted children of all ages, and has never gone out of print. With sing-along songs and boisterous staging, The Tiger Who Came to Tea will delight anyone who has longed for the tiger's return.
