The Table of Delights, Print Room at the Coronet

Clean eating is all the rage. If you haven't heard of Deliciously Ella or Hemsley and Hemsley, or been paying close attention to our new foodie Stephanie Archar, then heaven knows where you've been, or what you've been eating.
With the hope of inspiring a new generation of children to think about food and where it came from, director and actor Katy Carmichael (most famous for playing Lucy Richards in Coronation Street) has teamed up with chef and food critic couple Claire Thomson and Matt Williamson to dish up an educational, theatrical feast for kids at Notting Hill's neighbourhood theatre The Print Room.
After two sell out runs in schools and to family audiences at the Bristol Old Vic, The Table of Delights is on its way to serve London's young appetites, with five theatrical acts that follow the story of 'humble' foods such as bread, milk and honey from their origins all the way to the plate.
Throughout, the audience is invited to taste, as well as listen, as morsels of food are served up on their tables. Expect to see pirouetting beetroots, singing and conga-dancing honey bees and a dairy circus to dance before the childrens' eyes and onto their tables.
