Daddy Do My Hair?, Discover Children's Story Centre
Dynamic storybook duo Tola Okogwu and Rahima Begum are doing a special talk at the Discover Children's Story Centre this June.

Daddy Do My Hair? is a series of books created by the aforementioned artists. Celebrating the special relationship between father and daughter, the series aims to examine how small, everyday events can bond families together. Each book sees a different pair of fathers and daughters challenging perceptions of skin and hair colour, and exploring themes like bullying, friendship, and grief.

Families are invited to hear author Tola Okogwu tell stories from Daddy Do My Hair? and learn how Rahima Begum illustrates them. Activities like recreating the book's hairstyles, making your own paper plate character, and designing a special father's day card will also be available.

Suitable for ages 4+. Early booking is recommended .
