Wined, dined, and – Rhined? The selection introduced by the sommeliers of the Meyer-Näkel vineyard in Germany will erase all your Wednesday woes.

The Meyer-Näkel vineyard is widely acknowledged as Germany’s leading purveyor of Pinot Noir. Courtesy of Wine Barn, their award-winning wines will be available for tasting at the Army & Navy club. The selection of reds is truly a homegrown affair; the vineyard plants only grapes that are indigenous to the area.

Sample a series of Spätburgunder in style at the Army & Navy club in Mayfair. Test your sommelier skills with a nose of the delicately tannic classic Pinot Noir. Though it’s the vineyard’s specialty, that’s not all that’s on offer. Sparkling wines, rich rosés, and smooth Frühburgunder are also available for your tasting pleasure.

The vineyard’s very own wine aficionados, Iris Ellman and Dörte Näkel, will be on hand to answer your questions. And don’t be shy: the affair is a relatively informal one, with the focus firmly on the quality of the wine itself. For members, we have five pairs of tickets available for the exclusive event.
