The Pressery & Beehive Place present 'Wilder'

Brixton pop up Beehive place teams up with organic drink specialists The Pressery for a weekend of healthy living and locally sourced cuisine.

The Pressery & Beehive Place present 'Wilder'
Nestled behind Brixton Station is Beehive Place, an unassuming (oft unglamorous) side-street, which is currently playing host to an unmistakeable highlight on London's pop-up dining scene.
Open two nights a week until March, Beehive Place is a new venture from Sam Hodges (formerly of Soho House), and promises an intimate, top-quality dining experience in the atmospheric surrounds of an old Victorian hayloft. Normally at Beehive Place you can expect a menu – different each week, naturally – of the finest locally-sourced flavours woven together in cutting-edge British cuisine – but this weekend, prepare yourself for something a little different.
From Friday 23rd to Saturday 24th of January Sam Hodges is teaming up with healthy drink suppliers The Pressery to bring diners a whole weekend of healthy and well-balanced food, along with a number of short talks. The curated weekend experience begins with an Ashtanga yoga session with Francisca Rivas. This is followed by a light three course brunch, using the finest in local ingredients, sourced from exciting British independent suppliers from across the country. The team place an emphasis on balanced and nutritious dishes that burst with creativity and flavour.
The brunch will be accompanied by a series of talks that aim to discuss a variety of relevant themes including the countryside, wild food, bees and more, and will be given by Anna Jones, Jessica Albarn, Handmade Apothecary and Charlotte Crowther. They will be fascinating listening for anyone with an interest in sustainability or the creative gastronomy – for which Beehive is renowned. There will be a specially created bar, fully stocked for the weekend, featuring biodynamic and organic wines, cocktails using herbal infusions, cold pressed milks and juices, teas and more.
A perfect weekend to allay January fatigue and enjoy some healthy, sustainable cooking, in the relaxed surrounds of Brixton's Beehive Place.
