Roast On The Rye, Bussey Building

Looking for a Frank’s Café Peckham winter alternative? Head to the Bussey Building's rooftop for a Sunday roast.

Roast On The Rye, Bussey Building
With Frank’s Café now closed for the winter, Head Chef Amir Pem and General Manager Oliver Durnall didn’t want just to wait for the summer months to roll around again before starting their new project, and so their combined passion for nutritional and sustainably sourced food has produced Roasts on the Rye.
Every Sunday from the 12 of October, traditional Sunday roasts at a steal of a price (two courses for £10, three for £15) will be available on the first floor of the Bussey building, Peckham’s premiere cultural event space.
Wanting to attract all ages within the local community and to create an inclusive atmosphere, Roasts on the Rye encourages diners to mingle at communal tables in a casual dining environment; menus will include information on how each course is prepared and the origin of its ingredients.
Roasts on offer include 21 day aged beef, lemon thyme infused chicken and nut roast, all served with Yorkshire puddings, goose fat roast potatoes and bottomless gravy. Guests are encouraged to explore the Bussey building after their meal.
