Rixo SS19 presentation

Animal print, polka-dots, gingham and more unite under a grocery-filled roof for Rixo's SS19 presentation

Rixo SS19 presentation
Fashion week may be speeding towards a close, but Rixo – fashion's most in demand affordable brand – is making sure we go out with a bang by way of the brand's LFW debut.

The SS19 presentation, in Covent Garden's Floral Street, was an explosion of print, colour and fresh fruit and veg, housed inside an imaginary grocery store. Models pushed cartloads of pineapples through swarms of audience members, and languished amongst piles of oranges and apples wearing their party frocks.

The collection is inspired by designers Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey's most cherished 80's icons and is entitled 'Love Over Gold', after Princess Diana's favourite Dire Straits album.

There are polka-dots, abstract florals, animal print, and everything in between. Expect to see sloane rangers and party girls alike rocking this collection come springtime.
