New Balenciaga store, Sloane Street
Balenciaga has officially opened doors to its second bricks-and-mortar London store in Chelsea, West London. The two-floored space features Demna Gvasalia's 'retail warehouse' concept of industrial furniture, stark lighting, and mechanical, conveyor-belt-like rails.
Balenciaga has followed in the footsteps of a handful of other fashion houses by opening new spaces on Sloane Street. Fendi, Hermès, Versace and Armani have recently expanded to the location, with Burberry planning to open a new store there in 2020.
