Clerkenwell Design Week 2019

During Clerkenwell Design Week, London's design district bursts into life with exhibitions, installations and emerging stars of contemporary design

Clerkenwell Design Week: NORR11 showroom
London's Clerkenwell houses more creative businesses than anywhere else in the world. It's fitting, then, that it also houses one of the best design festivals in the capital.

Clerkenwell Design Week returns in May 2019 for its tenth edition. With new product designers, exhibitions, workshops and installations that showcase the best in international design on display, Clerkenwell is London's thriving hotspot for discovering emerging talent.

Activities run over the duration of the three-day festival and follow a distinct trail north to south from Spa Fields down to Farringdon.

Showrooms and product launches

Integral to the festival are the local resident design showrooms who partner with Clerkenwell Design Week to create a diverse programme of topic-led events including talks, workshops and product launches. Expect to see pop-up showrooms curated by high-end furniture, lighting, kitchen and bathroom brands. We recommend:

This year, the seven main Clerkenwell Design Week exhibitions are: Design Fields (Spa Fields); Platform (House of Detention); Project (Garden of St James's Church); Elements (St John's Square); British Collection (Crypt on the Green); Detail (The Order of St John); and Light (Fabric Nightclub), a CDW newcomer.
