The Adventures of the Little Ghost, The Place

There will be ghostly goings on at The Place when an immersive dance piece for family audiences haunts the venue later this month

The Adventures of The Little Ghost is a new show conceived and created by choreographer and producer Sophie Nüzel, based on the German folk tale of the same name by Ottfried Preussler.

Performed in-the-round to an original score by Seymour Martin, the 45-minute production transports audiences into a magical realm that is revealed as soon as they enter the space.

Audience members aged 4 and up are sure to delight in the story of a little ghost whose biggest dream is to see the world during daylight hours, just once.

As the show takes place all around the audience, there is plenty of excitement to be had when discovering new characters and scenes.

Even better, The Adventures of The Little Ghost uses a variety of dance styles - including contemporary dance and elements of parkour and free-running - to add to the sense of adventure.

The core cast consists of three male professional dancers, a free-runner and a young boy. They will be joined by a community cast, recruited by The Place, of up to 30 people aged 10 to 101.

A truly original and engaging pre-Christmas treat for the little ones; and the accompanying adults will probably not be immune to the surrounding magic...

Reduced price of £28 for a group of four.
