Magazine London, Greenwich Peninsula
A new 10,000-capacity venue called Magazine has opened on the Greenwich Peninsula in south-east London. From the team behind the nightclub Printworks, Magazine is a multi-purpose space that’s fit for conferences and exhibitions as well as concerts.

Magazine consists of two indoor spaces that can accommodate 3,000 people plus an outdoor area called the Showground, which can cater for up to 7,000 people. The venue offers panoramic views of the River Thames and Canary Wharf skyline. The venue is located in front of the site of British artist Alex Chinneck's famous installation ‘A Bullet from a Shooting Star’. The installation, which resembles an upside-down electricity pylon, is illuminated at night, creating a prominent landmark for those travelling to and from the Greenwich Peninsula.

Those behind Magazine describe the venue as a 'blank canvas for culture and commerce'; one that offers brands and businesses a chance ‘to interact with global and local audiences'. The inaugural programme of events includes a 'house party' hosted by beer brand Desperados and Stylist Live LUXE. With its three distinct yet complementary spaces, expect to find yourself heading to an event at Magazine London this autumn.
