Affordable Art Fair Hampstead: 6 artists causing a stir this year

By Lucy Scovell on 5/6/2018

Spotlighting fresh faces on the cutting-edge contemporary art scene, Affordable Art Fair has made a name for itself as London's pre-eminent fair for discovering new talent.

Following the Affordable Art Fair Hampstead this May, these are the young emerging artists to watch now.

Following a sell out show at Tate Modern this spring, and news that Nu Couché will sell for an estimated $150M at Sotheby's New York later this month, Amadeo Modigliani is the artist name on everyone's lips. But if this colossal price tag seems a tad overwhelming, look no further than Chinese artist Hock Tee Tan.

Inspired by Modigliani's figurative nudes, Hock Tee Tan's sensual sculptures, watercolours and oils seduce the wandering eye. A firm favourite of fashion and style influencer Pandora Sykes, Hock Tee Tan is the man turning heads right now.
